Participants must bring their own street legal motorcycle and you must be properly licensed. These skills are beneficial to any type of street motorcycle. Emphasis on crash –avoidance skills including cornering finesse and braking skills. The Advanced course is a new & challenging 5-hour, “half day”, course (range exercises only) for the more skilled and properly licensed motorcyclist. (Prerequisites: Basic course graduate or properly licensed motorcyclist) Advanced Course The participants will discuss risk management techniques and share riding experiences. The course participants practice cornering, braking, and evasive maneuvering techniques Participants will also discuss their risk management techniques. Intermediate CourseĪ 5-hour on-range course for the motorcyclist who wants to fine-tune mental and physical skills. of Public Safety (DPS) motorcycles are available for use in the course. DPS course graduates are exempt from the riding and written tests when applying for a motorcycle endorsement. Courses may be held as a 2 ½ day or a 2-day schedule. Participants will learn basic physical operation skills to evasive maneuvering techniques as well as risk management skills necessary for safe operation of a motorcycle in traffic. This 15+ hour course is designed for the beginner or returning motorcyclist.
